ON COURSE INTO THE NEXT DIMENSION

Entropia Universe has evolved from its beginning roots as Project Entropia that began in mid-2002 when the commercial open trial phase started, to its current day Entropia Universe Platform on the verge of major space expansion. Multiple planets are on course to eventually align themselves with the first planet Calypso that is already steeped in a rich history and civilization. On January 30, 2009, Entropia will celebrate its 6th year anniversary after going live on January 30, 2003 with VU 4.2.

FROM THERE TO HERE AND BEYOND

It seems ages ago when the first international space stations for scientific research were constructed in orbit around the planet Earth. It was critical for practical technological solutions to emerge if life in space was to be achieved, and it was at this time that many commercial interests branched out into space in the name of scientific research, and in hopes that their investments would pay off.

It was not long before people of Earth were able to enjoy an adventure cruise in space, or spend a vacation at a resort either on the Moon or Mars. It was felt that these types of experiences would help in adapting to new environments, especially when the search was on for a new planet in a nearby solar system that could sustain human life.

Through centuries of advanced scientific technology and space exploration, a new planet was discovered, and was eventually inhabited by humans from Earth. When the first settlers arrived, everything had been prepared for them in advance by robots that had already built up a complete infrastructure. Control was turned over to the humans, and as they began to adjust to this new environment rich in life and resources, they felt they had returned to paradise, and thus, this first region of the colonies became known as New Eden. The planet was named Calypso, and grew to establish two continents known today as Eudoria and Amethera.

Planet Calypso has experienced its trials and tribulations, especially with the robot wars and having to defend itself against total destruction. With new planets aligning in the near future, it will be an interesting course of events to see just how the transition into the next dimension weathers the continuing storm. Calypso itself is in the throws of reconstruction in preparation for this transition, and we were able to get a glimpse of a small portion of our homeland with expectation that can only be exceeded by the actual event.

The citizens of Calypso await not only its completed new canvas, but the opening up of space that will introduce travel to outer areas of our Entropia Universe.

And the adventure continues.

MindStar9
Jan 1, 2009

DISCUSSION HERE
(you must be a member of the JSA forum to view)
